Building good relationships with landowners is the most important part of site selection and we ensure that we keep landowners fully involved throughout the development process.
We will consider any marginal farmland of 25 acres or more (ideally grade 3-5) on which to pioneer regenerative measures alongside solar PV.
Sunnier sites generate more power and so it is important that we ideally locate sites in the areas that receive the most sunlight. When we analyse your site we will estimate the expected solar yield using our proprietary software alongside long term climate data.
Flat fields are preferable, but it is possible to work on undulating or sloping land given advances in current solar PV technology. We also model shading from agricultural buildings and other obstructions.
